New Moon in Pisces - March 17, 2018
New Moon in Pisces at 26 degrees (Tropical Zodiac) tomorrow, March 17, 2018. The Sun traveling through the last of the 12 signs, signals the ending of an astrological year. And we are about to begin a new cycle with the Spring Equinox on March 20th when the Sun enters Aries. A New Moon is its own ending and beginning cycle too. In Pisces all the other signs are meld into one—the collective unconscious—the all of the All. Which can explain why Piscean energy can feel overwhelming at times. But through all our experiences, particularly this last year, we are starting anew soon and onto another journey.
Mars will be squaring the Pisces Sun/Moon conjunct, causing some friction and possible power struggles (within or from outside sources). But it takes friction to ignite a flame, and Mars (who rules Aries, btw) will assist in progressing us into this next astrological evolution cycle. At the time of the New Moon it will still be in Sagittarius, but later in the day move into Capricorn where it will be ready to inspire us to work towards what we want to manifest and bring into form in our world. We may not feel emotionally ready for the next phase or challenge coming up over the horizon, but we are. However, the best approach is through seeking stability during this transition. Use the Sun as your inspiration for balance during this time when there is equal Light and Dark.
